Tineesha Mari Olsen has been working with brides for over 20 years. Born into South Africa's vibrant Indian community, she grew up surrounded by the sights, scents, and ceremonies of both Tamil and North Indian weddings.
As a qualified somatologist with formal training in skincare, aesthetics, and holistic beauty therapy, Tineesha brings a depth of professional knowledge that sets her apart. She understands skin — how it responds to makeup, how it carries the story of who you are — and she uses that understanding to create bridal looks that feel as beautiful from within as they appear without.
Her mastery of henna is near-legendary in South Africa's wedding community. Nearly 20 years of drawing intricate traditional and fusion designs has given her hands an almost meditative surety. Each design is unique; each is drawn without stencils, guided by an intuitive understanding of proportion, flow, and the bride's own energy.
Whether she is draping a saree with finesse, weaving flowers through a South Indian braid, or creating a flawless natural makeup look, Tineesha approaches every task with the same meticulous devotion. She believes that beauty, at its finest, is simply the art of helping someone recognise themselves.

I work with South African brides from a beautifully diverse blend of cultures — Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Gujarati, and beyond. Each bride brings her own heritage, rituals and sense of identity to her bridal look. My approach is rooted in a deep respect for these traditions, paired with a refined, modern sensibility.
From the effortless fall of a well-set saree, and the thoughtful placement of each jewellery piece, to the clean intentional structure of every pleat; I consider the overall bridal look to ensure everything comes together seamlessly. For me, this work goes beyond styling. It is about preserving meaning, honouring tradition, and creating a bridal presence that feels authentic, elegant and quietly luxurious.
